Typhoon Kalmaegi

Hey guys,
I dont know if you know this, but this morning super typhoon Kalmaegi was formed close to Philipines and is heading past Hong Kong to Hainan island. In Hong Kong right now (which is 5 o'clock in the evening) it's typhoon wind force 3, which means the wind speed is around 41 to 62 kilometer wind are occuring. It is currently 430 km Southeast of Hong Kong.
Typhoons are pretty much rainstorms with LOTS of wind. Typhoons are tropical cyclones that occur in Asia. In the Americas, Hurricanes are the same thing.
Just an update:
it is now 7:30 am in Hong Kong, and overnight the winds increased at around 10:30 last night to a typhoon warning signal 8. In Hong Kong. Currently in Hong Kong 17 people have been injured and all school have been suspended for the day.
Also, in Los Cabos, Mexico, hurricane Odile, a category 3 storm in moving up towards the South West of America.
